The Seth Wilbert Memorial Scholarship will be annually awarded to a graduate of Adirondack High School who has completed a program at the Howard G. Sackett Technical Center in Glenfield and who will continue his or her education at a college or Technical school level; or has plans to open his or her own business within the Howard G. Sackett and/or Adirondack School district(s).  In honor of Mr. Seth Wilbert, the awarded student will demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism within their community, dedication to their chosen craft and display a positive attitude to those around them. Applicants will submit a one-page essay describing their qualifications for the scholarship along with two letters of recommendation.

The scholarship will be awarded to the recipient in two phases. Phase one will be awarded to assist with the purchase of required textbooks and supplies (for the Fall semester). All textbook receipts will be submitted to the Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders for full reimbursement up to $1,000.00.  The remainder of the scholarship funds will be awarded at the successful completion (a grade of C or better) of the first semester.
